Norwich

I think my favourite building in Norwich is the City Hall (C H James and S R Pierce, 1932-38). I just really like the “Stadhuset out of Mussolini by way of Dudok” look.

A cathedral and a castle are also available.

I went round the art gallery in the castle, even though I wasn’t really in the mood. There was an exhibition by John Crome, a local artist, who was compared to Constable and Turner in his day. I preferred the winter landscape by Edward Seago.
